Please Refrain from Walking:

 

• During Corporate Prayers:   All movement should cease as you drawer nearer to GOD during this time of purging.

      (Please enter the Sanctuary quietly with thanksgiving, preparing to Worship the Lord & refrain from talking or walking during Invocation Prayer)

 

• During Reading of Scripture:   When Jesus read in the temple from the Book of Isaiah, the Bible states all eyes were fixed upon Him. This is an excellent point to remember. When hearing the Word of God, all eyes, hearts, minds, and ears should be directed towards the person reading the Word of GOD. 

     (We stand up to Honor the reading of the Word of GOD. Please refrain from all talking)

 

• During Altar Call & Meditation:   This is your personal time to talk to GOD, then listen as He speaks to you. 

     (Only walk to and from the altar. Please refrain from all talking except for Call & Response from the Pulpit and Visitor's Greeting time)

 

• During the Sermon:   Walking during the time a Rhema Word from God is being delivered is not only distracting to the congregation, but is very rude and distracting to the preacher. The sermon is the "meat" of the the Worship Service - the time to listen, learn and comprehend. Again, all eyes, hearts, minds, and ears should be directed towards the preacher speaking the Word of God. Afterwards you will see ministers, church officers getting into place for the Invitation to Christ.

      (Doorkeepers will usher those in & out of the Sanctuary for crying babies/children and those returning from the Restroom or emergency, etc.)

 

• During the Invitation to Christ & Discipleship:   This is decision time. Souls are hanging in the balance of Salvation or damnation.  The Holy Spirit is moving throughout the congregation, ministering to the one who is deciding.  

      (Only walk to and from the altar. Please refrain from all talking exept for Call & Response from the Pulpit and Intercessional Prayers)

 

• During Holy Communion & Baptism:   These moments should be Reverenced at all times- Ordinances of the Church.

      (Walking should only be done to and from the Altar. Please refrain from all talking. Baby Dedications are also reverenced in the same manner)

 

• During & After the Benediction:   The Holy Spirit is still at work even after the Benediction so please show Reverence.                                                    (Please be sensitive to the Holy Spirit and use Blessed Quietness as you leave the Sanctuary after Worship)
