"HOLY SPIRIT MESSAGE FOR 2019" ~by Rev. Dr. Jeffry David Camm  Toowoomba, Australia

As we move from 2018 to 2019, the Holy Spirit prompted me to read

Proverbs Chapters 12 & 13.  In reading these two chapters, 6 words jump out at you from the pages. They fall into two distinct groups :

The first group is: Wickedness, Lies & Fools

The second group is: Righteousness, Wisdom & Blessings

As I have already indicated in my book, (Opening Heaven’s Gates), God is sending the Spirit of Separation upon the church, so that God can separate these two groups of people, one for blessings, the other for punishment.

2018 was a year of turmoil, but 2019 is to be a year of change.

4 words are imparted to me by the Holy Spirit for 2019. These words are:

  • Righteousness, Responsibility, Accountability & Transparency

Righteousness: >>> [right standing with God]

  • We are to be a righteous church, because it is commanded in scripture, and righteousness leads to blessings. (All of these things shall be added unto you)

  • We are to be a righteous people, so that the unsaved can be drawn to us.

  • We are to be a righteous people, so that the secular world cannot lay any blame at our door, which would bring dishonour to Jesus Christ.

Responsibility:

  • We are responsible to Jesus Christ, to make sure that whatever we do as individuals, and corporately as a church, does not bring dishonour to God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, or the person of the Holy Spirit.

  • We are responsible to God to raise up spiritual fathers & spiritual grandfathers in the house, so that we can become a spiritual family, not just a lot of orphans who come together to seek God’s forgiveness.

  • We are responsible to raise up spiritual fathers, so that orphans in the secular world have a father figure to look up to, and to get advice from, on both secular and spiritual matters.

Accountability

  • We, as individuals, and corporately as a church, are to be accountable on two levels;

Firstly, on the spiritual level & in spiritual matters

  • We are accountable in the spiritual realm to Jesus Christ, whose suffering and blood on the cross saved us.

  • We are accountable to Senior Pastors, who have been called by God, to pastor the church at this time, and who has been appointed by the Board to that position, and for that purpose.

  • We are accountable before God to become a house in unity, (which presently is not the case in many churches). Where there is unity God commands a blessing.

  • Therefore, there can be no blessings from God until this takes place.

  • We are accountable before God to become a mature spiritual house, so that God can use us as an example - to witness to others, in the city, and our respective nations.

  • This means that the template of the 5-fold ministries of Ephesians 4 must be acknowledged and implemented within the church, so that we can become a spiritually mature house of God. These are “God anointments” – not “man appointments”.

  • These 5-fold ministry gifts must be operational within the church, so that the Body of Christ can be operational outside of the church building.

Secondly in the natural realm

  • We are accountable before God, to respect and obey the secular authority which God has allowed to be placed above us. (Romans chapter 13)

  • This means that we must ensure that as individuals and corporately as a church organisation, there can be no blame laid at our door; that we have obeyed every law of the land, and made sure that our church organization has high moral and ethical standards, and is an excellent example of how a legal business is run and operated in society.

  • Our accounts should always be paid on time. Scripture says: Owe no man anything!

  • Our corporate identity should command respect, both within the church community, but also within the wider secular community, in which we live and operate.

Transparency:

  • A church is not a secret society!

  • It is supposed to be one part of the Body of Christ, collectively working together for the glory of Jesus Christ.

  • The spiritual teachings, the events and the business of the church, should at all times by 100% transparent.

  • Unfortunately, this has not been the case in the past in many churches, and this has to change, so that God can be glorified in His church.

  • This is important to remember. This is His church!

  • It is not Pastor (x’s) church. It is not Pastor (y’s) church. This church belongs to Jesus Christ and should glorify Him, and only Him!

Finally a word of warning: God’s judgement begins in the house of God.

2 Chronicles 7:14 is quite clear in what we must do before God will act.  If we, as God’s people, fulfil this scripture, by humbling ourselves, seeking His face, praying regularly, and turning from our wicked ways, then (and only then) will God hear from heaven, forgive our sins and heal our land.  If we don’t; then God won’t; and we will continue to go around the mountain until we learn this lesson!
