Timothy Rollins, a.k.a. daHoodRev! began his Musical career journey at the age of 4! born in New York City (Jamaica, Queens) but raised in Uniondale, Long Island. He started playing Classical Music by Beethoven & Bach, Performing concerts @ age 5. Born with perfect pitch & playing piano by ear, 'HoodRev!' was soon trained by a PH.D Graduate from Juilliard, then later attended Howard University. First the Classics (60s), then the R&B/Funk! (70s) Along came Jazz & Hip Hop (80s & 90s), and the Gospel! (Millennium). He was there in NYC [1978-79] when "B-Boyin' " & "Scratchin' " and Rap / HIP-HOP began! [King Tim III] Tim also has recorded Keyboard tracks for Public Enemy, Ice Cube, Janet Jackson, & Frankie Beverly & Maze. Paul Jackson, Jr., Rick James & Chaka Kahn, and Kurtis Blow; Somehow still recording Urban Contemporary Gospel Music CD’s. Celebrating over 50 years of Music and having a ball! He has a Daughter named Torria Jamari Rollins and lives in Atlanta, Georgia. USA; He wrote this first Children’s Book to inspire Music into their lives.
