Words Of Wisdom | W.O.W.

A few months ago I found myself in a place of despondency, a place where it seems as though I was so caught up in the struggles of life that I seemed lost in the effort to survive. On one hand my consulting business was moving along, and God was using it to not only touch the lives of others and push those who allowed Him deeper into their wealthy place. And on top of that God was using the consulting company to help establish ministries and Church across America.

As I sit here in the stillness of the morning before the phone begins to ring that the various demands on my day begins to knock on the doors of my mind I find myself, as I often do, contemplating the larger questions of life, the two most important of which are what is God doing in this season and what does God require of us generally and of me in particular

I believe one of the most powerful prophetic messages in the bible, which also happens to be one of the shortest is found several times in Scripture “He who has an ear let him hear”, in fact this prophetic declaration is so vital to the Bible that it is contained in scripture at least five times, four of which are contained in the Book of Revelation itself

For those who have an ear to hear or an eye to see it should be evident that we are in a season of change, a season where the foundations upon which we stand are not only changing but changing rapidly. The advent of the technological revolution with it accompanying access to unprecedented amounts and sources of information make it possible like never before to witness,if not experience the events that are shaping and reshaping the world on a national and global level. However, not only are not able to witness the events that are reshaping the world around us on an unpresented level we are fortunately or unfortunately, (depending on your worldview) shaped by them.   

.I believe we are in a place in time when the voice of God is clearer than it has been since the first century of the Church, a time when the world experienced the Glory of God though the lives of those who served Him. A time when the world beheld the formation and expansion of the Kingdom of God on the earth, a period which culminated with Christianity becoming a global movement and the Kings of the earth pledging their allegiance to the Church and even the emperor of Roman acknowledging the power and supremacy of God. 

There are times when as I pray I see images of a great throne before me, a throne crafted out of the finest wood and trimmed in the purest gold. A throne so beautiful, so pure that the thought of it with my natural mind makes me tremble. This throne with all of its majesty and splendor in seemingly both within my grasp and beyond my reach as if the very attempt to touch it pushes it further and further away. When the vision of the throne first began to appear to me, I as I suspect others would, assumed that the throne was the seat of God, the place from which God ruled all of creation, the place where we or at least our spirits would come and bow down before Him.

..Beloved, we are in a place and time in the world where is seems like society is coming apart at the seams, where it appears like darkness is invading every aspect of our lives and there is no place where we can escape it.  For many in the Body of Christ especially those who were born in the 60s, 70s and 80s we have seen the world as we knew it fade away and be replaced by one that has seemingly lost all sense of order, decency, loyalty morality and any sense of Godliness, even many of the strides that were made in the 60s, 70s and 80s which served to ensure that the rights of all Citizens . . .

Beloved of God as we enter into this new year we are entering into a new season, a season filled with both new challenges and new opportunities. A season in which the voice of God and the Spirit of God is hovering and brooding over the earth seeking and searching for those who have an ear to hear and the faith to believe what the Spirit of the Lord is saying.
