God told Moses that if the Jews were obedient to His laws and kept His commandments, then there would be peace and prosperity in the land; but if they did not ~~ then trials and tribulations and  even captivity would come upon them.

Deuteronomy 28:64 And the LORD shall scatter you among all people, from the one end of the earth even to the other; and there you shall serve other gods, which neither you nor your fathers have known, even wood and stone.

As in the days of Noah, people were getting married, raising children, going to work, being involved in business, and Intercessors and prophets were warning of impending events, which will have a major and/or catastrophic impact upon nations and the whole world in general.

In 1929, there were warnings of a global economic collapse[1], where money would lose its value, and whole countries would go bankrupt, or nearly bankrupt.

But the world went along blindly, ignoring the warnings, until it was too late. When the crash came, overnight whole nations found that their money and their credits were no longer of any value. People with savings, were unable to withdraw the full amount in their accounts, as the banks took measures to stop a “run on the banks” ~~ but alas it was too little too late, and many banks went broke.

Many businessmen lost everything, including their homes, as they could meet their loan repayments. Other businessmen could not endure the shame and jumped to their deaths from multi-storey buildings[2], in many cases leaving their families destitute.

It took a long time for the nations to recover and just when everything seemed to be going well again, the world was plunged into World War II, with millions losing their lives.

In the first week of July 2019, it has been revealed that the largest German bank is in trouble and on the 9th July they announced that they are taking drastic action by cutting 18,000 jobs from their bank-staff, worldwide.

They are the first of the banks to react to this next financial crisis which is bearing down upon us. Have governments sounded the alarm? NO! Why not? They don’t want people, to rush into their banks, and withdraw all their savings from their accounts. That would be an economic disaster, as bank after bank would fold, as they became insolvent, unable to pay out the monies to each account holder. As a result the various governments must step in and cover the debts of the banks, leaving these countries vulnerable to financial ruin and/or bankruptcy.

In the days of Noah, only eight (8) people listened to the voice of God and were saved. In the 1929 situation, more listened, but still millions starved, or lost their homes, and/or their jobs, and churches become life-support avenues for thousands of needy people, with soup kitchens and places to sleep.

So, the questions that needs to be asked and answered;

1. Are the governments around the world listening to the economic forecasters?

2. Are they establishing worst case scenario plans for their nations?

3. Is the church listening to the prophetic intercessors?

4. Is the church reacting to their warnings?

5. If not, why not?

6. Maybe a revision of the Book of Daniel and the Book of Revelation is in order.

Remember: God Almighty never does anything without first revealing His plans to the Prophets, to warn the people.

When is Jesus Christ coming back? 

​

There are many scriptures in the Old and New Testaments about Jesus Christ and his authority, which include that “he was at creation, and that nothing was made without his involvement”. In the gospels, his disciples asked him when he was coming back to earth to establish his kingdom and Jesus replied that no one knows the day, or the hour that Jesus is to return, except his father who is in heaven. This statement was made by Jesus before he went to the cross.

Introduction:

With all that is going on in the world today, maybe it is time for the Christian churches to take a serious look at the seven churches in the Book of Revelation, and make sure that your church is there, and it is alive and well, according to the view of Jesus, not what we think about OUR church.

Before we look at the seven churches themselves, let us try to find out on whose authority the book was written, and for what purpose, and to whom.

It is true that the Lord calls us and the Lord anoints us to do His will and fulfill His purpose for us here on earth, but many people do not achieve this because of one simple failing – they do not know what God has called the to do.

The scriptures tells us that each of us are called by name (called individually) and called according to God’s holy purpose. But if we look at the mighty men of the Old Testament, we don’s see God laying out a picture for each of them to follow for the rest of their lives.

Many of us have seen TV shows where “evidence” as presented before the courts, which puts a person at a particular crime scene. Alternatively, defence lawyers will provide other “evidence” to show that their client was nowhere near the crime scene when the crime took place.

In Hebrews 11:1, the scripture tells us that our faith is the “Evidence” of what we hope for, the certainty of what we do not see. There are many different types of faith.

Now Hebrews 11:1, says that our faith is the “evidence” of our spiritual beliefs. How do we display this evidence today?

Matthew 28:18-20 (NLT) says He told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and earth. Therefore, go and make disciples in all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and THEN teach these new disciples, to obey all the commands I have given you; and be sure of this – that I am with you always, even to the end of the world”.

And so it was that Jesus commanded His disciples with these last words before He ascended into heaven.

I have heard many sermons in the last 25 years saying that we must “catch the vision” of the Denomination, or the Pastor, or of the “prophecy for the Year ahead”, BUT VERY FEW sermons about “Obeying God’s Word”.

John the Baptist came as one crying in the wilderness: “prepare for the coming of the Lord”.

Despite what man thinks or does, God is still in control of this planet. He has his plans all mapped out from before time was invented, and He will still be in control well after time has been extinguished, and there is new heaven and a new earth. We have seen through the teachings of His prophets, that God Almighty laid out the foundation plans for his “selected nation” [Israel] to be an example for all other nations to follow.
 

As we move from 2018 to 2019, the Holy Spirit prompted me to read Proverbs chapters 12 & 13.  In reading these two chapters, 6 words jump out at you from the pages. They fall into two distinct groups:  The first group is: Wickedness, Lies & Fools 

The second group is: Righteousness, Wisdom & Blessings

As I have already indicated in my book, (Opening Heaven’s Gates), God is sending the Spirit of Separation upon the church, so that God can separate these two groups of people, one for blessings, the other for punishment.

Many of us could quote the saying, which says; “where there is unity, God commands a blessing”.  Many of us would even say that this is a scripture which comes from the Bible. However, if you do a search using a concordance for the word “unity” in the N.I.V. translation, there are only seven (7) references in the whole bible of this word and none of them refer to the saying mentioned above.

About 2 days ago, the Holy Spirit woke me up with the first line of this song wringing in my ears. Salvation BELONGS to our God.  But the point that became clear to me was that the emphasis was on the second word “BELONGS”. This made me start to think about ownership, and the implication of what “OWNERSHIP” really means. Many of us think about ownership in the “natural realm”, as we continually think about our possessions, the things that we can claim “are ours”, because we “own them”.

My title of this teaching today is putting “the Cart before the Horse”, and you may be wondering why such a strange title. But unfortunately I find that many churches in the 20th and 21st centuries are doing just that!  When Jesus started his ministry, he did not start by instituting “social programs”, he started by following on from the teachings of John the Baptist, who was the voice crying in the wilderness, “prepare ye the way of the Lord, for the Kingdom of the Lord is at hand, and will very soon be here amongst us. Get ready to receive the Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the whole world, “one soul at a time”. John proclaimed; “I baptise you with water for the sin of repentance, but there is one coming after me, who sandals I am not even worthy enough to tie up, He is coming to baptise you with the Holy Spirit and with Fire”.

A “BELIEVER” is someone who believes that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

Do you realize that even Satan “believes” that Jesus Christ is the Son of God; and that is why he has been trying to take the glory away from His kingdom here on earth, by keeping people in the darkness.

Principalities and powers “believe” that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that is why they tremble at the sound of His name, and have to flee under the power and anointing of the Word of God. Unfortunately, people who “believe” that Jesus Christ is the Son of God do not produce any good fruit.  

John 15:16 says. You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit ~~ fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name.  

God Almighty has perfect plans and sometimes they take days to implement, whilst at other times it takes thousands of years to complete.
When King David and his mob of rabble rousers attacked Salem, it had never ever been conquered, and to show their disgust at the 300 people with David attacking their Walled City, they refused to put soldiers on the ramparts, but put blind men and disabled people up there waving their crutches instead of their spears.

I imagine you have been repeatedly told over the years that “we are saved by Grace”, and we should all strive to become a “GRACE” church.

Well, today I want to challenge you to decide what type of “Grace Christian” you want to become.

You will notice up on the stage I have set out 5 chairs and the letters on each chair spell out G-R-A-C-E. Let us look at each of these chairs individually and see what the letter stands for.

1.         Many people are called, but very few accept the challenge, and answer the call of God upon their lives. This study is to try and identify why this happens.

2.         Revelation # 1: Is to realize that God Almighty never, ever, CALLS A PERSON TO FAILURE! God’s plans are perfect! He knows who you are (in your heart). He would never call you to do a task that would end in failure, because that would not bring glory to the Son, to the Father, or to the Holy Spirit.

Many people in life are good starters of projects, but somewhere along the way, they get diverted, they get tired, or they just give up.

They are like 100-yard sprinters in a marathon race, very unlikely to have the stamina, or the willpower to complete the course. That is not what the Bible teaches us.

In John chapter 15 verse 16 we read:

16  “Ye did not choose out me, but I chose out you, and did appoint you, that ye might go away, and might bear fruit, and your fruit might remain, that whatever ye may ask of the Father in my name, He may give you.”

Romans chapter 12 verse 6 states (NLT) “God has given each of us the ability to do certain things well. So, if God has given you the ability to prophesy, ~~ then prophesy whenever you can ~~ as often as your faith is strong enough to receive a message from God.”

So in today’s language, God has given each of us a “talent”, or “a gift” to do something very well – in fact better that others.

This talent God refers to as “ability”, but unfortunately many people do not know what their gift is, and so they are not available to use that gift for His glory. So there are two parts to this picture.

The first part is to identify what the special “ability” is that God has given to each of us, and the second part is the “availability” to use it for his glory. So there is “ability” and there is “availability”, and both have to come into play so that God can be glorified.

In the beginning of Acts Chapter 5 we have the incident concerning Ananias & Sapphira, where this couple decided to sell a piece of land and give the proceeds to the church, as a gift to God

We know that they conspired to keep back some of the money from the sale of this land for themselves, (which they were quite entitled to do) but when asked about it by Peter, they both lied in the presence of the congregation and the Holy Spirit. As a result of this lie to the congregation, the Holy Spirit acted upon them and they both fell down dead.

“The Importance Of Equipping The Body Of Christ”

A healthy spirit-filled church is one in which its foundation is prayer and equipping is its cornerstone for growth and replication.   Ephesians 4:7, 11-13 brings clarity as to what offices within the body of Christ are responsible for equipping the body.  “But to each one of us, grace has been given as Christ apportioned it.  This is why it says:  “When he ascended on high, he took many captives and gave gifts to his people.”  …So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for the works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.”

Each year, millions of people around the world make “New Year’s Resolutions” about things in their lives that are going to change, stop, improve, or do. Unfortunately by the end of January, many of these “resolutions” have been broken and/or forgotten, and people revert back into being the same as they the previous year.

However, each and every year of the Hebrew calendar has a special meaning, and as we are now in the Hebrew Calendar year 5778, we need to understand where God is pointing us this year, so that we can be obedient and follow His leading as an act of worship and obedience.

​

The scriptures in Hebrews command us to prepare ourselves, as “living sacrifices”, which is our “reasonable service”. This means that Jesus expects this to be the “minimum” of our efforts to honor Him.

​

Each of us is commanded to use the “individual gifts” that have been given to each of us “for the profit of the corporate Body of Christ”.

​

Unfortunately, many Christians don’t know what their gifts are, and even if they do know, are reluctant to use them, out of fear of failing, being persecuted, being excluded from their existing friends (because they have now become one of those weird “on-fire Christians”).

​

The Word of God is very clear. God has NOT given us a spirit of fear, but a pure heart and a sound mind. God Almighty wants righteousness, fellowship, and love, to abound among His people, so that God’s order, which is clearly evidenced in the universe, is also clearly evidenced within the Body of Christ. When this happens, the unbelievers see it and know that it is real, because their souls have been searching for it from the time they were born. It is part of their God-given DNA. It fills “the desires of their hearts”.

​

As we enter this New Year, let us accept who we are in Christ. We have accepted that He has died for our sins, in our place. That we are now new creations in Christ, commanded to go forth and bear much fruit (that remains) for His glory.

As the glory flag shows, Jesus has opened the door for us, to enter directly into the throne room, through the power of the Holy Spirit, which exploding through that doorway with us, as totally new creations in Christ Jesus. We are no longer like the caterpillar, slowly crawling for one leaf to another gorging itself on food with no other purpose in life.

No! We are transformed, as new creatures – just like these beautiful butterflies, free to fly off to a God-appointed rendezvous, ready to pour out their love for the next generation.

As we start this year, we need to examine ourselves. Are we still walking around as caterpillars, with no God-given purpose, just eating everything in sight; or are we free like a butterfly, realizing that we are now new creations, released of our burdens, to fly freely to do God’s will in 2018?

That is the challenge for this year.

On the 2nd July 1992, (some 25 years ago) I wrote these words:-

I have been studying the scriptures over the last weeks and have been fascinated by a statement by John the Baptist, in his reference to Jesus and His Ministry here on the earth. John says the he baptizes with water, as a sign of repentance, BUT that Jesus Christ shall baptize with the Holy Spirit & with FIRE.

Now, we all know the promise of the Father (the Holy Spirit) was given to the disciples in the Upper Room in Jerusalem, on the day of Pentecost, and that the Holy Spirit has been leading and guiding the church since that time.

But John the Baptist, whom Jesus said was the greatest of all the prophets, said that Jesus would ALSO BAPTIZE WITH FIRE.

Joshua chapter 5 describes the consecration of the people of Israel, in preparation for the great task that lay before them.  As such, it stands as a bridge between the crossing of the Jordan, and the beginning of the military campaigns to subjugate the inhabitants of the Land.  For many, however, especially to those trained in military tactics, this chapter may seem like an enigma, at least from man’s point of view, and of course, that’s precisely the issue here.

THE PROPHET’S REWARD

In Matthew 10:38-42, Jesus is speaking and it says;

"He that loves his father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loves his son or daughter more than me, is not worthy of me. And he that takes not his cross, and follows after me, is not worthy of me. 

He that finds his life shall lose it: and he that loses his life for my sake shall find it. 

He that receives you receives me, and he that receives me receives him that sent me. He that receives a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward; and he that receives a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man’s reward.

And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones, a cup of cold water only, in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward."        READ MORE

EQUIPPING THE BODY OF CHRIST

“But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ…Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men,…So, Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.”  Ephesians 4:7-8; 11-13

Approximately twenty years ago, on a typical Sunday morning, I took my seat on the pulpit, excited to participate in another awesome move of God.  One Sunday, something caught my eye and tugged at my heart.  I recognized that everyone on the platform had the opportunity to use their God-given gifts.  The pastor was preaching, the choir was singing, the organist was playing.  Throughout the congregation greeters were greeting, ushers ushered, and deacons collected the offering.  But, what about the other 100-500 congregants seated within the church pews?  Were they, too, blessed with gifts from God? Were there opportunities for them to use their gifts throughout the week within the church? If so, when did they use them? How did they use them?  It was then, that I recognized the calling on my life to assist the Body of Christ in assessing their spiritual gifts, equipping them for ministry and teaching them how to activate their God-given gifts within the church.

Is Every Member of the Body of Christ Gifted to Minister?

Yes.  The answer is found in verse 7 of Ephesians 4. In verse 7   Paul talks about how each individual Believer is gifted by Christ with various measures of grace; in verses 11-13   he talks about how the church is gifted by Christ with certain ministering people who are gifted to equip the saints to minister to the body.  Every Believer is uniquely graced to minister within the body of Christ. For what purpose are we gifted?  According to Paul’s writing, we are gifted for the purpose of building one another up and for strengthening one another to learn to love like Christ and develop a spirit like Christ.  To one particular group of Believers, God gifted them so that they would equip the Body for works of service.

​

This column will answer the questions asked above regarding the equipping and training of the Body of Christ. In addition,  I will address the following questions:  What does it mean to equip the body of Christ?  Is everyone called to the five-fold ministry?  What are the roles and responsibilities of those called to the offices of the five-fold ministry?  How does the five-fold ministry operate together?  What are the manifestation gifts of the Holy Spirit?  Which of these gifts God has graced you with?  How do these ministries, once equipped, successfully work together? What is the church missing if the five-fold ministry and the manifestation gifts of the Holy Spirit are not in operation within the church?

I pray for the peace of Jerusalem.
I pray for this nation.. I pray for the preachers.. To walk in wisdom and the anointing of the Holy Spirit.. I pray for prophets.. Walk worthy of the calling .. I pray for psalmist and minstrels..Bring forth the song of the Lord! I pray for teachers.. TEACH THE WHOLE TRUTH OF THE WORD.. I pray for pastors...for the heart of YESHUA TO FLOW THRU THEM.. His agenda only...I pray for all those that love HIM.. To serve Him.. Will a whole heart..
I pray that your people will Lay aside every sin that so easily besets us! Let us rid ourselves of the little foxes that spoil the vine! Praying for order in our lives.. Increase the hunger for SEEKING YOUR FACE... For worshipping the KING OF KINGS..

America will become a land of communism, For the black Eagle has step into power. Life in America will change as you know it, many people will be held in consistent camps, some will be held hostage in their homes, some will be taken out by God, and some Divinely Chosen to stay behind to preach the gospel. There will be great weeping and sorrow like never before as military forces control America. Children will weep for their parents as they are killed. The streets and homes will be on security lock down and those who retaliate against their orders will be put to death. The smell of fear and death will fill the air as people flee to save their lives. Food will be rationed and monitored at all times, know one will be free to do as they wish. In the midst of this devastation, people will be taken up, from everywhere on the earth. Here in America some will catch up on the highways, and cars left empty. Ministers will weep as they see their brothers and sisters being taken out. But God says, weep not my children, I have chosen you for a great purpose and I am with you, warn the people. This had to be for the Antichrist to arise, those who wish to save their lives will lose it, and those who lose their lives for Christ will find it.
