 Introduction:      With all that is going on in the world today, maybe it is time for the Christian churches to take a serious look at the seven churches in the Book of Revelation, and make sure that your church is there, and it is alive and well, according to the view of Jesus, not what we think about OUR church.
    
    Before we look at the seven churches themselves, let us try to find out on whose authority the book was written, and for what purpose, and to whom.
