Often times when doing construction of one of the World's Tallest Buildings, it takes a carefully calculated visionary who can see beyond the present circumstances, know when to bring in some special kind of dirt, blast out the existing boulders and other hinderances, then plan to lay down a STRONG FOUNDATION on which one can build upon. In the Apostolic sense, we as the Modern Day Apostles are merely carrying on the works of the Original Twelve; walking with Jesus with the sweet communion of the Holy Spirit as our guide. The LOGOS Endiathetos/Prophorikos.
On CHRIST the SOLID ROCK I stand. That is the very FOUNDATION of the chuch. The Book of Acts tells us the proper method of establishing the Church and to prepare the Body of Christ for the days ahead. We are living in the last days. The higher the structure of any 'building' the deeper the foundation must be. Often times we must use the resources that God Himself has already presented to us. The WORD uncompromised, the life of the Divinely called Vessel of GOD also uncompromised. In other words, our Walk must add up with the Word of GOD and not just talking about it, or doing otherwise.
[1 Corinthians 12:28] Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC) "So God has appointed some in the church [for His own use]: first apostles (special messengers); second prophets (inspired preachers and expounders); third teachers; then wonder-workers; then those with ability to heal the sick; helpers; administrators; [speakers in] different (unknown) tongues"
And in order to carry out this special appointment that is affirmed by God Himself, we must go back to the GREAT COMMISSION that Jesus Commanded to the ORIGINAL TWELVE; to be carefully & prayerfully carried out by those whom God has called. This Great Commission is found in : [Matthew 28:19-20] Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV) "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen."
The Five-Fold Ministry is the very Pillar of God's Government, built on the very foundation of Christ Jesus. Each of the five-fold will be exemplified in the use of the 9 Gifts of the Holy Spirit:
1. The Word of Knowledge 2. The Word of Wisdom 3. The Gift of Prophecy 4. The Gift of Faith 5. The Gifts of Healings 6. The Working of Miracles 7. The Discerning of Spirits 8. Different Kinds of Tongues 9. The Interpretation of Tongues. [1 Corinthians 12} mentions them and you will find a total of *50* THINGS that the HOLY SPIRIT DOES! The FIVE FOLD Ministry Gifts are a must when you are planting and cultivating within a New Territory that the Lord Thy God will send you. I often like to refer to it as a Five-Fild-Fist; striking a mighty blow into the enemy's 'kingdom'. Satan cannot have full Authority over what GOD has already ordained to be! As a matter of fact, this is where the DUNAMIS - EXOUSIA - KRATOS - ISCHUS POWER OF GOD takes over. It all fits together; to completely declare VICTORY! We must come together as the body, with the Power of GOD to defeat the works of the enemy. Jesus has already defeated the enemy on Calvary, so we must do as Jesus did and declare God's Power... over and over again until the end of time when Jesus returns to the Earth again.
The FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT are (yes it is plural & multiple!) also very important to mention when executing these Spiritual Giftings. God requires a certain "Spiritual Temperance" when operating in the Holy Ghost! [Galatians 5:22-23] Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)
"But the fruit of the [Holy] Spirit [the work which His presence within accomplishes] is love, joy (gladness), peace, patience (an even temper, forbearance), kindness, goodness (benevolence), faithfulness, Gentleness (meekness, humility), self-control (self-restraint, continence). Against such things there is no law [that can bring a charge]"
Now let's get to that Little Lad's Lunch were were telling you about. Don't you know that a Little Lad's Lunch will last a long, long time? Notice how Jesus Himself handled a matter totally different than His Disciples would have! This is why Apostles - Prophets - Evangelists - Pastors - Teachers collectively and individually need to be taught; not in Seminary (so to speak) but of the Holy Spirit, who is the absolute best teacher! The Comforter, the Third Person of God Almighty! Jesus not only took what they had (you will also find out that money is never enough in a situation like feeding the 5000 Men, their wives/children, etc. While the Disciples wanted to send the multitude away because (often like the deacons & trustees would) they didn't have enough funds to feed 5000+ folk. BUT GOD! (Hallelujah!) Jesus knew that a sacrifice & thanks
would not only work, but be in Divine Order for a Miracle to occur. A mother happened to prepare a little lunch for a lad with just 2 small fish & 5 little loaves of bread. Who knew? (that it would be more than enough) Who Knew? (that the little lad was in store for witnessing one of the Greatest Multiplication Equations on this earth!) Who- Knew???- JESUS KNEW!!!
[Matthew 14:13-21] explains it clearly and to common mankind, it is impossible; but with GOD all things are possible! The Lord will often place us in a similar situation as foundation layers for the Kingdom of God. It is up to us to Tap into this power source and allow GOD to MULTIPLY, Provide the INCREASE, do EXCEEDINGLY ABUNDANTLY ABOVE ALL, and the Glory is all HIS! We as foundation builders, preparing and blessing the very ground, providing the elements, but it is only HIM that will provide the Sacrificial Increase! Glory be to GOD for His Word, His WORD (LOGOS), His Grace & Mercy, and the very 12 FRAGMENTS of the OVERFLOW that is left in abundance AFTER the miracle is performed!!! Glory be to GOD whose very TRUTH endures through all G E N E R A T I O N S ! ! !
