GOD CALL US UNTO HIS SERVICE (c) March 1st 2019

It is true that the Lord calls us and the Lord anoints us to do His will and fulfill His purpose for us here on earth, but many people do not achieve this because of one simple failing – they do not know what God has called the to do.
The scriptures tells us that each of us are called by name (called individually) and called according to God’s holy purpose. But if we look at the mighty men of the Old Testament, we don’s see God laying out a picture for each of them to follow for the rest of their lives.
Abraham was not given a road map of where he had to travel - no! he was just told to pack up and leave your family and your country and I will lead you. God calls and then waits for a response from us.
Saul was off with a letter of authority to capture and torture Christians, but God intervened sending Ananias to release the spiritual blindness from Saul’s eyes. Even though Saul had the best biblical teacher of his time, he still did not have the revelation of who God was.
The same applies to many Christians today. They go to church, they read the scriptures, they sing the songs, but do not have a personal encounter with Jesus Christ.
Unless there is a personal encounter, the Holy Spirit cannot be activated, and the anointing cannot flow.
Unless we listen to the call of the Lord,
recognizes the call of the Lord, and
act on the call of the Lord,
the anointing cannot empower us to do what we have been called by God to do.
So my challenge today is this:
• Have you heard the Call of God?
• Did you recognise that it is God calling you?
• Have you acted upn the Call of God?
• If not – why not?
There are many rivers, lakes and rivers out there waiting for people to walk on them.
Selah! Stop! Pause! And think about that!
