
Apostle Dr. A. E. Sullivan, Jr. was baptized in 1972 and gave his life to the Lord in 1974. He has been in Kingdom Ministry & Christian Service since April 1980 and he is the Founder & Senior Pastor of The Victory Outreach Christian Church (VOCC) in Harrisburg, PA., which was established in January 1999. Bishop is the Founder, Chief Apostle, Senior Bishop & Presiding Prelate of The Gospel Truth Global Apostolic Network (GTGAN), which has over 5,800 churches in 60 nations. He is the Founder, CEO & President of The Apostle A. E. Sullivan Global Ministries (AESGM) and the Founder & Host of The Last Hour Global Radio Broadcast for 12 years. Bishop was a Guest Columnist with The Patriot News in Harrisburg, PA. in 2012. He served 2 consecutive terms as the youngest President in the history of The Interdenominational Ministers Conference of Greater Harrisburg (IMC) and now serves as President Emeritus. Bishop has been an Officer in The IMC since January 2001, having joined in 1999. He is the owner of Sullivan Power. Bishop is now serving as the Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer of Triumphant One e-Magazine & VMI Recordings. He is on the Board of Directors for Triumphant One as well as serving as the Senior Editor of the e-Magazine.
Apostle Sullivan has preached the Gospel of Jesus Christ in over 140 cities in 28 nations in North America, South America, Africa, Asia, Europe, Caribbean and Middle East to different people of various nationalities, religions, denominations, and socio-economic backgrounds. He has been invited to preach in over 100 nations. The only son of Pastor Carolyne M. Sullivan, Bishop has served faithfully as a husband, father, spiritual leader, revivalist, visionary, mentor, community leader, civil rights leader, civic activist, advocate, teacher, tutor and humanitarian. He has preached in revivals, retreats, crusades, conferences, conventions, convocations, seminars, workshops and various other settings. Bishop carries a strong burden to bring lost souls to Jesus Christ and then disciple them in the Word of God.
Bishop Sullivan spoke and advocated many times at the PA. State Capitol as he fought for the voters, taxpayers, churches, families, minimum wage workers, labor unions, public educators, small business owners, minority contractors, and many other groups across the Commonwealth of PA. He also fought for criminal justice reform, judicial reform, election reform and as a member of a task force, he worked on a bill so people with non-violent criminal records in PA. could get their records expunged, which is known as a 2nd chance bill. Bishop also stood on the right side of history against environmental racism, state takeover of the capital city, and state takeover of the Harrisburg City School District. He has been invited and attended clergy briefings at The White House, US Library of Congress and the US State Department in Washington, D.C.
Apostle Sullivan is known to be a versatile and gifted servant who is multi-talented in a variety of fields. His list of accolades, accomplishments, achievements, and awards over the years are too numerous to name. He has received a long list of awards from the fields of Church, community, civil rights, academics, music, sports and art. He was awarded Who’s Who Man of the Year, Who’s Who in Religion, Who’s Who Among Executives & Professionals, and Outstanding Young Man of America to name just a few. Bishop was awarded The Global Leadership of the Year Award by I Change Nations and he was appointed a Goodwill Golden Rule Peace Ambassador. Bishop has 8 degrees and received the President’s Award from Grace Bible Institute & School of Theology as well as being awarded Summa Cum Laude for his masters degree, Magna Cum Laude for his earned doctorate degree and the Dean’s List. Bishop is a graduate of Millersville University of PA., The Interdenominational Theological Center and The Grace Bible Institute & School of Theology. He also attended other institutions of higher learning.

Apostle Sullivan formerly served as an Assistant Pastor, Evangelist, Reverend, Minister, Teacher, Deacon, Youth Leader, Spiritual Advisor, Musician, Worship Leader, Choir Director, Choir President and in many other positions over the years in his former churches. In his former denomination, Bishop previously served as the National Sunday School Superintendent, National Evangelistic Board Member, National Music Conference Board, National Constitution Revision & Credentials Committee, National Budget & Structure Team and in other capacities.
As a bi-vocational pastor, Bishop worked 12 years as a Public School Teacher, 12 years as a Mortgage Banker and he has run non-profits for over 6 years. Apostle has personally met Rev. Jesse Jackson, Rev. Al Sharpton, Dr. Cornel West, Tavis Smiley, Roland Martin, Martin Luther King, III, Joe Madison (aka The Black Eagle), and other luminaries in the modern civil rights movement. He has also met many well known Gospel preachers and Gospel recording artists.
Apostle was married to the late Pastor Denise C. Sullivan (“The Silent Storm”), who was promoted to Heaven on Good Friday, April 22, 2011. He has 3 grown daughters and he has 1 son who went to be with the Lord. Bishop has come from a family full of preachers, musicians, singers, public educators, and many other careers. He has been called “The Walking Bible”, “Mr. Sunday School”, “The Ambassador of Excellence” and “The Rain Man”. He is a descendant of Rev. Hiram R. Revels, the 1st Black Senator in the USA and Anna Jarvis, the founder of the Mothers Day holiday in the USA. Apostle Sullivan is truly an anointed man of God and an end-time servant of the Lord Jesus Christ.
