Pastor Craig McAshan is a man of God who loves the Lord and was called from a Family of Generational Preachers. Growing up in Brooklyn, NY and as the Son of the Late Dr. Eugene E. & Jewel D. McAshan, Preaching and Music was already in his DNA. His Father who was a Legendary AME Pastor, and his Mother, the Organist and Missionary Society President, he comes from a delightful Family of structured Ministry thoughout the Generations. As the Father had pastored churches in Brooklyn,  NY; Commack, LI; Buffalo, NY; and Philadelphia, PA; the family has lived in many Cities where the AME Church has sent them. What is wonderful is that his Natural Father was also his Spiritual Father as well. Craig Eugene McAshan Sr. was Licensed,  Ordained  and Installed by his Dad.

Craig E. McAshan Sr., affectionately known as Pastor Craig, is a 3rd generational preacher that loves preaching, teaching and impacting lives through the gifts. At a young age he had an ear for music and his gifting was evident in his singing, playing the drums and ability to sit at a piano and pick out music to write songs and teach choir parts. Singing at the age of 8 was the only thing he did in front of people. He was too shy to do anything else. While he was a second semester freshman in college the Spirit of God came over him in a way that changed him forever. He realized that the shy young man was called to open his mouth wide, as the scripture says, thay the Lord will fill it. Psalm 81:10. He preached his initial sermon at the age of 19, and His father, Rev.Dr. Eugene E McAshan, along with the Presiding Elder of the Philadelphia district AME church decided that he be licensed that night. Through matriculation at Morris Brown College in Atlanta, Ga; Goddard College in Plainfield VT; and the Ministerial Institute, he was then ordained into itinerant ministry. He was fortunate to catch the eye of one of the church members, a young lady named Darlene who later became his wife!

The then Rev. Craig McAshan and his lovely wife Darlene heard the voice to move to Atlanta for permanent residence.  After serving in various ministries God showed him the vision to pastor.
